Designed for In-Use Resistance Testing of Gloves and Finger Cots
The PCF-825B Glove CAFE Test Electrode is designed in accordance with ESD Association Standard Practice ANSI/ESD SP15.1. The document provides test procedures for measuring intrinsic electrical resistance of gloves and finger cots, as well as their electrical resistance together with personnel as a system.

Use it with any Prostat Resistance Meters
The Constant Area and Force Electrode (CAFE) is held by a person’s finger to reproducibly measure resistance from the finger to the electrode. It is easily used together with the PRS-801B, PRS-812B or PAS-853B.

It Includes a Ground Cord Containing an Integral 1 Megohm Resistor
Included with the PCF-825B is the PWS-610PGC ground cord with an integral one megohm resistor for performing a high voltage system, high resistance test. The PWS-610PGC meets the requirements of ANSI/ESD S1.1.

Use the No-Resistor Ground Cord for Low Voltage System Resistance Test
To perform a low voltage system resistance test of less than 1.0 x 106, use the included PWS-611PGC no resistor ground cord. The PWS-611PGC includes a 4mm female snap that attaches to the wrist band.

Warnings 
A one-megohm resistor has been molded into the plastic cap on the ground cord fastener.
DO NOT REMOVE. If it becomes damaged, replace ground cord immediately. Do not use in areas where the individual may come in contact with electrical circuits exceeding 250 volts.

The Prostat wrist strap is for static control. It will not reduce or increase your risk of receiving electrical shock when using or working on electrical equipment. Follow the same procedures you would use without wrist straps, including:

* Make certain that equipment having a grounding type plug is properly grounded.

* Make certain that you are not in contact with grounded objects other than through the strap.

The PRS-801-WV Premium Conductive Rubber Electrodes are ideal for qualifying or certifying newly installed ESD Floors, Worksurfaces and other ESD control products. While virtually all 5 pound, 2.5 inch electrodes in today’s industry are perfect when delivered to their end users, over time they may change considerably.

The Prostat Premium Electrodes are measured as described in ANSI/ESD S4.1 for electrode diameter, durometer and resistance of the pad. In addition, these electrodes are electrically tested for flatness using the Prostat PRV-813 Conductive Rubber Electrode Verifier.

A certificate of calibration including all data, treaceable to NIST is provided at no additional cost.
